Our son started with Monica when he was 3 and was fully prepped to take on preschool.  He had shown so much improvement intellectually and socially during his time at the academy.  The principal at his preschool raved about how much he knew upon taking his placement test (he placed into a higher class).  Monica has been a blessing to our child and remnants of her love and teaching is still shown in his character and attitude.  We HIGHLY recommend The Tot Spot for your toddler.

A huge thank you to Ms. Monica and The Tot Spot Early Learning Academy!!  We moved here from out of state and when I finally found The Tot Spot, I knew it was where he needed to be!  This move was a big transition for my son and Ms. Monica helped us navigate that and helped him be the best version of himself!!!  She has such a big heart and made my son feel like he was one of her own kids!!  We are beyond thankful for everything she has done and taught him!!!  He loved going on class trips!!  We are beyond thankful for choosing The Tot Spot Early Learning Academy and can't wait for our youngest to go when he gets a little older!!!

My son started at the Tot Spot just a couple months ago. I’m so impressed with how much he’s learned in such a short time. He came to her unable to identify letters and sounds. And although the other students were more advanced in this area because he started late, I can now call out any letter and he recognizes it with ease. The care and educational attention Mrs. Monica shows is by far the best I’ve seen at a childcare center. She also places as much emphasis on fun as she does education - my family and I love Monica, her family and the Tot Spot. I highly recommend!

The Tot Spot is phenomenal!  My son started at the Tot Spot when he was three years old and was more than prepared for Pre-K in a matter of months.  Mrs. Stefano loves on each kid as though they're her own and ensures that they feel loved, supported and academically prepared for school.  As a former teacher and school administrator, I appreciated the curriculum aligned to VDOE learning standards and differentiated learning strategies she incorporated to meet my child's learning style.  If you are looking for a provider that will nurture and academically prepare your child for the next level, the Tot Spot is the perfect place for your child!
